AI SIRES
Ocean Eyes
Sire: 50 Shades
Dam: Harbour
DNA: RRNNEDF FF
Bred by Brassfield of California. An elite Southdown buck that can simultaneously improve the underline quality/athleticism and compositional merit of your stock. Improve their look with fewer marshmallows. Ocean Eyes is a must use.
Making Bank
Sire: Ocean Eyes
Dam: Mordu
DNA: RRNNEDF FF
"Making Bank is proving to be a game changer for the Southdown breed. His first lamb crop is looking exceptional. If you’re looking to add muscle shape without sacrificing structure and balance, this is the one. Ocean Eyes is has made his mark on the breed and with the proven ewe side of this pedigree you can count on Making Bank with his babies."
Pote
Sire: Fezz
Dam: Haws 21098
DNA: RRNNEDF FF
"Pote is one we left the seeds in because quite frankly he seemed too thick to be a wether. He has without a doubt the biggest loin, hip and hind leg we have put on a down. Its wild looking! His rib cage is giant, the base of his chest is incredibly wide, that is where this sheep is special. I would be lying if I didn't tell you he was a little loose spined. If he was a little more sure right behind his blade I would breed him to the farm. Fezz was the same way and it very seldom bred on.... but as a bidder you need that information. I plan on breeding him to some of my longer bodied, prettier downs that need to be cracked opened."
The Bishop
Sire: Protest This
Dam: Big Time
DNA: RRNNEDF FF
For the past couple years, we have been working on adding some extra mass and true muscle shape, without sacrificing structure, stoutness of feature and the front-end design we have worked hard to create in our ewe base. The Bishop is the next piece in that puzzle and as his first lamb crop starts to hit the ground, we are more confident each day. He offers a unique blend of genetics in a clean package and will add some of the unique pieces it takes to compete in the Southdown breed today.
